Virtual reality cork harvest

The latest edition of the Vinitech Trade Show in Bordeaux was a wonderful opportunity for our teams to release our brand new 360° video to allow our clients to immerse themselves in a cork harvest.

Each time it is possible, we take clients to witness a cork harvest. This allows them to understand the difficulties of such a task, the importance of barking under the proper conditions, as well as the many environmental benefits of cork oak exploitation.

As harvests take place between May and September, we decided to shoot a 360° video to allow this exercise to continue to be appreciated by our clients through a fun, education and – above all – innovative fully-immersive experience which matched our brand. Last July, a film crew travelled to San Vicente de Alcantara (Extremadura) to film a cork harvest thanks to the precious assistance of our teams on site.

During the trade show in Bordeaux, a dedicated stand with virtual reality headsets allowed visitors to immerse themselves in the experience.

For those who were unable to visit us at the trade show, the 360° video is now available on our YouTube channel:
